We drove to the coast over the weekend since the weather was going to be so nice and because we were in need of a break from our everyday…dishes, laundry, chores, etc. And it did just the trick. It was revitalizing for our family and Eleanor was in H.E.A.V.E.N. I haven’t seen her so content in a long time (threenager). We feel so lucky to live just an hour and half away from this gorgeous place…
I couldn’t believe she wanted to wear her swimsuit and stay in it for the majority of the day. Even though it was beautiful out it was still only 65 degrees with a brisk wind. I swear kids don’t get cold!
They adore each other and it’s the sweetest thing to watch :)
No beach trip would be complete without a trip to the candy shop (It was so hard to resist those treats!)
These days Eleanor is in full threenager mode so when it’s bad, it’s real bad. But, man, when it’s good you guys, it is good. Truly, being a mama, seeing her so happy, brings me a joy I never knew before. xx
